Daniel Göttin's solo exhibition Double View at PS Projectspace
Double View is a site-specific wall-work made up of five black tape works displayed on three walls alongside with five small colored tape works on grey cardboard. Both parts stand by themselves in regard to their size and color still concurrently playing with each other, repeating the U-shaped form on white wall and on grey cardboard backgrounds in a distinct way, suggesting visual interaction between themselves and originating a double view. Since 1990, Göttin explores the subjective nature of perception, examining the interaction between space, object and viewer.
"The interaction between my specific intervention and the environment allows an experience of a newly defined perception of space." - Daniel Göttin
Preview is on Sunday 1st of November between 4 and 6 pm. The exhibition runs until the 6th of December.
