Emma Godebska 是一位法国抽象艺术家，目前居住并工作于法国尼姆。

教育

她在伦敦受教育，曾在 Sir John Cass 艺术学院学习应用艺术和珠宝设计，Godebska 早期接触父亲的绘画和雕塑材料，激发了她对质感、印记、透明度和色彩的迷恋。

技法

Godebska 使用反映自然本身的天然颜料，与稀释的丙烯颜料和无编排的仪式性动作的表演性表达对话。她将自己的创作过程描述为寻求内心平静的视觉太极。调色既冥想又有条理。花费数小时调配合适的颜色对应某种感觉或情绪。Joan Mitchell 也谈到绘画情感，并在 1986 年告诉 Yves Michaud：“绘画是一种感受‘活着’的方式。”...

设计一种既透明又不透明的硅胶工具，也是她定制化、个性化过程的一部分。对比元素之间的平衡哲学呼应了道家教义。这些元素包括透明与不透明、明与暗、暖与凉、有意识的分析决策与无意识的自发动作。

她的蓝色泻湖时期持续了一年。现在的氛围柔和温暖：黄色和土色调，伴随着实验，发展成更大的装置和更大胆的色彩标记，需要更多身体能量和精神表现。法国尼姆 Théâtre Périscope 的装置代表了这一方法的早期版本。

灵感

Godebska 捕捉记忆的本质。

Joan Mitchell 在 1965 年接受 Dorothy Seckler 采访时解释道：“如果我有某种感觉，可能是我绿色的感觉，或者是记忆中的风景之类的东西。我看着桥或河流时的感觉。”Mitchell 在法国 Vétheuil 的 La Tour 住所拥有同样激发莫奈灵感的风景。...
