Paul Richard Landauer is an Austrian abstract artist. His paintings are the result of pictorial gestures that create marks, touches, and graphic traces on the canvas. His artistic practice ponders the rhythm and uniqueness of forms.
Landauer uses a highly personal style of painting, often characterized by the methodical and orderly juxtaposition of intense touches. His paintings are created through simple acts, such as repeatedly applying brushstrokes of colour to the canvas. Each touch is intentionally counted, measured, reported, creating deeply harmonious and musical compositions.
The art practice of Landauer fits into the tradition of Informal Art and Abstract Expressionism deepening its more intimate and pure aspects. The inspiration for his paintings comes from his existence and his own body, acts, and movements.

展覽
Paul Landauer 曾於多個歐洲畫廊與博物館舉辦個展與群展。他的作品於2020年在塞爾維亞斯梅德雷夫斯卡帕蘭卡國家博物館（Smed Palanka）舉辦的個展《純真挖掘》中展出，2019年於塞爾維亞貝爾格萊德的 N.EON 畫廊參與《Silence the Noise》展覽。他也參與過塞爾維亞貝爾格萊德的 Gallery O3ONE、Galerija Stab / X-Vitamin 畫廊，以及西班牙馬德里的 Van Gogh 畫廊的群展。
