技法

Heidorn的技法以Dissolutio为核心,这是一种哲学和技术框架,体现了他渴望与自然世界融合并融入其中的愿望。在多年未能引起共鸣的叙事绘画之后,他意识到自己想创作能够传达“解体”这一理念本身的作品。 

为实现这一点,他系统性地违反了油画的所有传统规则。他直接在画布上混合颜色,而非调色板,自由倒油,拒绝正确准备颜料,拥抱传统画家避免的所有“错误”——气泡、坑洞、湿斑、不可预测的化学反应。这些缺陷被确立为其技法的组成部分,确保每件作品保持运动状态,将短暂性作为美学特质纳入其中。

其结果是“生物分割主义”或“显微点彩派”:Heidorn将显微镜下植物、细胞和淡水生物图像中观察到的点彩图案移植到表现主义框架中。他的画布由数千个细小、精确的色点组成,组织成柔和的过渡,创造出无限的绿色和蓝色细微差别。这种技法将科学显微视觉语言转化为情感表达,桥接了分析与崇高。

Heidorn使用颜料、松节油和油画颜料在超大画布上创作,每件作品完全凭记忆完成,从不使用模型或参考图像,即使是绘制神经元、有丝分裂或水螅等科学精确主题时也是如此。这使科学主观化,将事实观察转化为评论家所称的内化“宇宙的生物记忆”。

他的创作方法既快速又成批。他经常同时绘制同一作品四到五次,只保留最佳作品用于展览,其余则重新加工或放弃。超大尺寸是其根本:画布设计旨在压倒观众,作为门户将他们沉浸在充满内在张力的活体、变异物质中。

展览
